Isaiah 59:16 - "And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him."
God's original aim for man was to be His extension on earth, as God's own light that shines in all dark places and hereby overcoming evil and sin. For this to happen, God created man in His own image to have dominion over all thing created on earth - Genesis 1:26-27.
On the 5th March, we looked at "why we are not shining", but today we are looking at "why do I need to shine as God intended". Isaiah 59:16-21 made it clear that God did not find a man righteous enough to intervene on man's behalf, this is why Jesus is the only answer to our salvation. He came to live a life that any man can attain, and by following in Jesus' footsteps, we also can become righteous in God's eyes and then God's glory can arise over our lives and make us Shine to the world, not matter where we live, no matter the lives we used to live before.
It is important for all to know that for God, Any other life style aside being being a light or an extension of Him automatically make such person not useful to God. This is where we need to ask God to help us, so that we can desire after His will and that He can help us to come to that place where by following Jesus, we also are the light of God. Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
